Three-axis CNC milling machines usually refer to our ordinary CNC milling machines. The standard configuration of CNC milling machines is three-axis CNC milling machines. Four-axis and five-axis can be added according to customers. Three-axis CNC milling machines are our most widely used series.
The most effective processing surface of the vertical CNC milling machine (three-axis) is only the top surface of the workpiece, and the horizontal CNC milling machine can only complete the four-sided processing of the workpiece with the help of the rotary table. At present, high-end CNC milling machines are developing in the direction of five-axis control, and the pentahedron can be processed in one clamping of the workpiece. If equipped with a five-axis linkage high-end CNC system, it can also perform high-precision processing of complex spatial surfaces.
During the processing of the three-axis CNC milling machine, the direction of the tool axis will not change, the movement mode is also limited, and the programming is relatively simple. Nowadays, special programming software is generally used for auxiliary programming. Compared with the three-axis, five-axis machining center programming is two very important points: drive method and tool axis. The settings of these two are very important. In addition, in order to completely cut the surface to be machined and avoid overcutting or incomplete cutting, "specified parts" and "specified inspections" are also very important.
